Try Fish Biryani with New Style

As per the best Indian restaurant in Sydney, they prefer to introduce new and amazing taste as their customers want this. This time, they have come up with the Best Indian food menu just by adding Fish Biryani into it.


For Fish Marinating:
  1. Fish 750g
  2. Ginger & garlic paste 1 tsp.
  3. Lemon juice 4 tbsp.
  4. Salt 1/2 tsp.
For Biryani:
  1. coal for BBQ effect
  2. Coriander powder 1 tbsp.
  3. cumin seeds 1&1/2 tsp. (dry roasted & crushed)
  4. dry fenugreek leaves 1/2 cup
  5. fried onions 1 cup
  6. Garam masala powder 1 tsp.
  7. Ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp.
  8. green chili 3 (sliced)
  9. kewra water 2 tbsp.
  10. oil 1/2 cup
  11. onions 2 medium (sliced)
  12. potatoes 5 medium (peeled, boiled with salt 1 tbsp. & deep fried)
  13. Red chili powder 1 tsp.
  14. Rice 750g (boiled with salt 1 tbsp.)
  15. Salt 1 tsp.
  16. thick Greek yogurt 1 cup
  17. tomatoes 2 large (sliced)
  18. Turmeric 1/2 tsp.
  19. Yellow food color 1/4 tsp.
Method

  1. First marinate fish with lemon juice, ginger & garlic paste and salt. Cover and then leave it for 15 min. Wash fish and  keep in sieve to drain water
  2. Heat oil add ginger & garlic paste, onions and fry on high flame until it gets light golden.
  3. Add tomatoes, cumin crushed, dry fenugreek leaves, salt, garam masala powder, red chili, turmeric, coriander powder, water 0.5 cup and cook until the oil comes on surface with high flame.
  4. Add yogurt, cook on high flame until the oil comes on surface.
  5. Add 1/4th cup of water, mix and add fish pieces, don’t mix it, only pick a pot and move it in rotating motion then simply cover and cook for 5 min.
  6. Add a piece of foil and coal to top it with 1 tsp. of oil then cover until smoke settles.
  7. Remove fish pieces, add fresh coriander mix & cook on high flame until oil again comes on surface.
  8. Finally add fried potatoes, mix and then close the flame.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy the Biryani
