Amazing Recipe for Delicious Beef Haleem

Ingredients
  1. All spice 1 tbsp. (whole)
  2. All spice powder 2 tbsp.
  3. Barley 1 cup (soaked)
  4. Bay leaves 2
  5. Beef ½ kg (boneless, tenderized)
  6. Clarified butter 1, ½ cup
  7. Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp.
  8. Gram lentils 1 cup (boiled)
  9. Onion 2
  10. Red chili powder 1, ½ tbsp. or to taste
  11. Red lentils, white lentils, split lentils 1 cup (boiled)
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Turmeric 1 tsp.
  14. Wheat grain 2 cup
Garnishing:
  1. Fresh chopped coriander as required
  2. Thinly sliced Ginger as required
  3. Thinly sliced Green chili as required
  4. Quarter Lemon as required
  5. Fried Golden Onion drained out on absorbent paper as required

Method

  1. Initially, you are supposed to fry onions in half cup butter and then add tenderized meat.
  2. After that, add ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, salt, whole all spice, turmeric and bay leaves. Then cook well.
  3. Add meat, barley, lentils and half quantity wheat grain in other pan and cook them all on medium heat. Mix them well.
  4. Just add water and all spice powder. Mix and cover as well.
  5. Then just cook it on low flame for 2 - 3 hours approx., stir occasionally also.
  6. Mix and then grind it slightly with wooden spoon and cover it again for few min.
  7. Just add little water now and the remaining wheat grain to mix well.
  8. Again just cover it and cook on low heat for 1 hour approx., stir it occasionally.
  9. Finally garnish it with the coriander leaves, fried onion, green chili, lemon and ginger.
  10. Serve it hot with Naan
