Ingredients
For Marinating
- ½ tsp. Garam masala
- ½ tsp. red chili powder
- ¾ tsp. ginger garlic paste
- 250 grams fish pieces
- Lemon juice as needed
- Little turmeric powder
- Salt as needed
Other ingredients
- ⅛ tsp. pepper powder
- 1 cup rice (Basmati or jasmine preferred)
- 1 onion thinly sliced
- 1 to 2 tbsp. ghee or oil
- 1 tsp. garlic chopped
- 2 sprigs curry leaves
- 2 to 3 green chilies slit
- Cashews and raisins as desired.
- salt as needed
Instructions
- First wash, then soak and cook rice al dente. You can cook it in a pot or a cooker as well. Once you are done, just cool it down completely.
- Then marinate fish and keep it aside for about 10 min.
- Time to fry garlic in a hot Banaspati and then you will have to add curry leaves and fish also. Fry it in for 3 min then flip it over. You can add more spice powders just as you like. Keep frying until it has been cooked from both the sides. Shift this all to the plate.
- Then add more ghee or even oil to pan.
- Time to fry onions and green chili until onions get golden.
- You will then add curry leaves, raisins and nuts as well. Sauté everything very well until the nuts are roasted in a better way.
- Time to add cooked rice, salt and pepper also. Then switch off and then simply mix well.
- Finally just serve rice and then fish with fresh salad or even the sliced onions and carrots as well.
